Michael Grant is the President of Grant Financial Company, LLC and Grant Real Estate, LLC. He started in the Mortgage business in 1991, participating in all aspects of the business including major roles in the creation of three separate mortgage companies. He left the business in 1998 to pursue an MBA at Tulane University, then went on to work in Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Valuations for 2 years. Soon after 9/11, he returned to the Mortgage Business again in February of 2002. Michael has also created a Real Estate Company, as well as purchasing and managing over 45 different rental properties throughout OR and WA.
Due to current Federal regulations that are constantly changing, new State regulations pertaining to personal liability and market conditions - Grant Financial ONLY does commercial and multifamily loans - We NO longer do residential loans.
Michael is well experienced in residential, multifamily and commercial mortage and real estate not only as a mortage or real estate advisor, but also as an investor. He takes extra steps to make sure the client really knows what they are getting into, prior to signing a committment. His philosophy is that the borrower/buyer must be able to handle the payment not only now, but in the future and understand what is involved with ownership of the type of property being purchased. Michael has been practicing the ethics of an Upfront Broker since the mid 1990's, prior to the existence of this worthy organization. Michael's experience includes single family homes, 2-4 units, mid-sized to large apartments, mobile home parks, commercial buildings (office, light industrial, pubs), shopping centers, and much more.
Michael I a CFE - Certified Fraud Examiner and helps individuals and corporate clients with mortgage and real estate fraud analysis, investigation and litigation.
